Hey everyone,
I am currently looking for anyone who would be interested in being a featured blogger for pet deals at any store (grocery, drug store, mass merchandise, pet stores…etc). I am looking for anyone and everyone who would be interested. If you do a weekly deals round up for Target for example, if you could send me the pet deals, and if there are any coupon match-ups…then I will post about it here on My Pet Savings and provide a link back to you in return. Feel free to email me or leave a comment if you are interested and I will place you as the featured blogger under that specific store.
I look forward to providing all pet lovers out there with weekly store deals and coupon match-ups so you can stretch your pet budgets!

We are waggin’ our tails because My Pet Savings received the “Beautiful Blogger Award”! A big thanks to The Adventures of Paul & Natalie for passing this great award to us. :)
With this award I’m suppose to share with you 7 Things About Me:
1. My favorite colors are blue and green. Growing up I used to hate the color pink. I’m not sure why, but to this day I refuse to wear pink. lol
2. I have had many pets throughout my life. Growing up I had several kittens. Living in the country just random things would happen, they would run out to the orange groves, run to the main road and *gasp* get ran over. :( I was pretty young and my mom would just keep getting me a new kitten whenever something would happen to them or they would decide to live out in the country. Anyway, every single kitten I got, I would name…Jasmine. Why? Because I loved Princess Jasmine from the movie Aladdin. Haha!
3. I currently have a cat named Eve. If we had a larger living space we would get a dog, I reallllly want a dog! I love Alaskian/Siberian Huskies…they are SO pretty!
4. Our first pets as a married couple were red eared snapping turtles. We named them Jericho aka “Jay Jay” and Nebuchadnezzar aka “Nebby”. They are Biblical names…hence the name “Eve” for our cat. Nebuchadnezzar is such a funny name for a turtle, lol!
5. I randomly came up with the idea to make this blog when I was running my other blog, Tomorrow’s Plight. I just realized one day that there wasn’t any blogs out there that was strictly devoted to saving money on pet supplies. So…**Tah…Dah!** My Pet Savings was born. :)
6. I have a 4 month old baby boy who consumes the majority of my day…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love him!
7. My hubby and I met in college, my freshman year and his senior year. We got married the summer after my junior year when I was 21. I graduated the following year as planned and got my BA in Psychology. I loved college, wouldn’t have my hubby and sweet baby boy without it! :)

Did you know that you can recycle your aluminum pet food cans? Purina is starting a campaign to promote recycling called, “Together We Can Recycle!” So you can go here to the Together We Can website and make the pledge to recycle your pet food cans. I just wanted to share this great campaign with all of my lovely readers. :)

I was do a little blog browsing and came across this post from “Of Mice and raMEN“, about pets shopping for their owners! The above photo is of Wow Wow and Pong Pong going shopping for their owner, a 76-year old stroke victim from northeast China.
Wow, I just had to share it with you all, I thought it was sooo crazy. Almost hard to believe. But there is even a video of a penguin actually going to a fish market and bringing back fish to his family. I think it’s amazing.
Now if only I can get my cat to go grocery shopping for me…Hmmm. lol

Hey everyone!
I hope that you all are having a great week! I just wanted to let you all know that I’m sorry for the lack of updates the past few days…my little baby boy is sick. :( So I am going to take the day off to care for him, look for some awesome updates tomorrow though! :)
