I only feed my cats cat food that has chicken or chicken meal as a main ingredient. I don’t feed them the cheaper cat foods that have the chicken by products in them. That is my main concern for their food.

Carly, chicken meal is one of the main ingredients of Young Again Cat Food. We look forward to seeing how your cats like Young Again.

Thanks so much for sharing about this company. I have been looking for a cat food just like this, if I buy a bag does it go a long way?

Kristy January 17, 2011 at 10:34 am

Yeah it really does, you actually end up saving quite a bit of money due to the large amount of protein in the food. My cat Eve tested out this food and a bag lasted her a good 4 months! She ate less because she was full faster due to the quality. I highly recommend it! :)

I missed out on the sample but did order 4 bags to try with our household of 8 cats. We have all ages from 9 months to 19 years old and purebred Maine Coons to alley cat rescues in our clan. Our Maine Coon breeder’s site now recommends this food so I’m curious to give it a try. They do need to offer discounts for multi-cat households though to make this more affordable. The current 25% helps but I’d like to see more discounts like that in the future or maybe bigger ones for those of us that regularly rescue cats to make it more affordable for bulk purchasing.

I will have to look into this our one kitty has bad reactions to cat food with grains so we love hearing about grain free foods!
