First Impression:
Sleepypod was nice enough to send me one of their nice modern travel pet carriers to review. My cat Eve was supposed to be the product tester, but she randomly decided she was going to be extremely shy and refuse to have her photo taken with the Sleepypod. So my mom’s Jack-Russell Terrier named Rocky was the product tester this time, lucky dog!
At first glance, Sleepypod looked very sleek and modern. I really love the sky blue color that I selected, it is very vibrant. I appreciate how it can instantly go from a travel pet carrier to a nice and cozy pet bed right at home. Also from doing a quick online search I can see that it has many great reviews and has earned awards from Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy, Modern Dog Magazine and much more!
Product Review:
Rocky really seemed to become attached quickly to the Sleepypod. Maybe it was because he knew it was meant for my cat Eve to review, so he wanted to show off? :)
As you can see, the top of the carrier completely zips off to turn into a comfortable pet bed. You can also purchase a Sleepypod warmer pad that slips in a special compartment under the bed to make your pet warm and cozy. I have a feeling that Eve, along with any other cat, would really enjoy this feature.

I also really like how you can easily take this in the car and keep your pets safe and secure by properly using a seat belt with it. It has been crash safety tested. Here is a video showing how to use Sleepypod as a pet car seat:
