Got some old t-shirts in your house that you don’t know what to do with? At MyPetSavings.com, we are showing you a fun way to turn old clothes into a play toy for your dog! Whether he is tired of his old toys, or you want to throw him something new to play with, this is the project for you. This project is also super simple and fun because there is no need for glue or sewing!
- Cut the fabric into 20 pieces that measure approx 1 inch x 20 inch (2.5cm x 50cm) for a large dog.
- Lay your pieces together in 2 sections of 10. Twist the 2 sections together and tie a large knot at each end as shown in the picture. Your knot should be tight and secure. Alternatively you can plat your strands together or add extra knots depending on your dogs desire.
Note: For smaller dogs reduce the length and quantity but not the 1 inch width.
This rope toy is perfect for a game of fetch or tug of war with your dog. It’s so simple that you can even bring your kids in on the fun and have them make a special toy for your pet to use when they play with them too!
