Guest Post: Pet Coupons Central Program

I was contacted by a My Pet Saving’s reader named Juli and she referred me over to Mary who started a great program called Pet Coupons Central. She, and volunteer coupon clippers send pet coupons to pet owners, shelters, caretakers and pet foster parents who are in need.

PetCouponsCentral is such an easy way to help animals or receive help when you need to feed your Pets. The PetsCouponsCentral program was started in May of last year because of all the postings I saw requesting food. I thought about how I could help and came up with this program.  The program helps individuals, rescues, shelters, feral cat colony caretakers and pet foster parents. There are no requirements to receive the coupons you just need a helping paw to feed your animals. There is no limit on how many times you can ask. I try and supply enough coupons for one month.We supply food for cat/dog/small animal/bird/litter/treats. We usually have many brands available to offer the pet owner. We also supply non-food items such a piddle pads, reduce vet visits, reduce cost for flea meds, grooming supplies.

We have been able to serve 392 requests, have sent out almost 21,000 coupons, the program has grown beyond belief and continues to grow each day. I need folks that will cut out and send me coupons so that I can continue with this program. It is simple to do and a great way to help animals that are in need. My guess is that you are here because you love animals, and because you also like to save money and be smart spender. Maybe you never thought you had much to offer for pets who are in need, but that is all about to change. Anyone can do this, and I mean anyone! There are so many pet coupons listed here on My Pet Savings, I’m sure you could spare some of your coupons or even print and send coupons that you wouldn’t normally use. Animal lovers are kind-hearted people and I know that many of you would make great coupon “clippers” for this program.
