We own not one, but two horses :) They are both now in their 20s and retired, but had long careers in competition!

Hello my name is Darla Jones. I am a board member and events coordinator for W.H.I.N.N.Y. Horse Rescue in Crooksville, Ohio. We are a non profit 501(c)3 organization..Each year we hold several fundraisers to raise money for specific projects designed for that year, This year our projects include safe fencing and an alternative source of water. Our present source of water is a drilled well. Unfortunately it just cannot keep up with our demands of use. Caring for needy horses requires a large amount of water. As our population for needy horses increases so does our demand for water. Tapping into a municiple water source will greatly benefit our rescue.
On April 16th and 17th we will be holding WHINNY Horse Rescues 2nd annual Traders Day Weekend. We are designing a booth that we hope to be educational and horse owner informative. We want this information to cover as many equine related subjects as possible. Our mission is to educate the public about proper horse care. Therefore we would appreciate as much subject matter as possible. We are interested in such things as: free samples,coupons,health liturature as well as material that is child oriented. This is very important to us because we are aware that the children of today will be our horse owners of tomorrow. We hope you can help us make our rescue booth a success.
