This month's donation will go towards helping animals as well as the people in Haiti. All shelter or animal organization donation nominations will be carried over to February. I have joined with Crystal of Money Saving Mom in an effort to raise awareness for Haiti earthquake relief and to generate as much help as possible in this severe time of need.
To do our part, My Pet Savings will give this month's Help-A-Pet donation to International Fund for Animal Welfare and Compassion . This donation will be split equally between the two organizations. This donation will not only be the normal 20% of ALL site generated income, BUT for every person who gives in some way to help Haiti and posts a comment or leaves their blog post related to this topic in the Mr. Linky, I will increase the percentage amount by 1%. So for example, My Pet Savings normally has a monthly 20% animal-related donation...for this special donation we will add a percentage. So for 1 comment/Mr. Linky post would be 21%, for 10 comments/Mr. Linky posts would be 30%...and so on.
This Help-A-Pet Project for Haiti will end Jan. 31st, OR until we reach 100% capacity for the donation.
So what are you waiting for? Let's give and help those in need...including animals! Remember to keep Haiti in your prayers.

I now have hope for Haiti! Utilizing the social networking media for such a worthy cause as this is amazing and I am grateful to have a way to help in the small way that I can. Thank you for such a wonderful idea and a way to make a difference in this world.
Due to our financial situation, I am commenting on as many sites as possible to raise donations for the relief effort. Bless you for not only helping but providing a way for everyone to help too!
What a wonderful thing you are doing. My prayers to go to all those in Haiti.
Thanks for rallying support for Haiti, and for remembering the needs of the animals. I donated to the both the World Food Program and the International Fund for Animals.
I have added my link to the list. It's amazing how many people are helping!
