PAWS Animal Shelter is a no kill cat rescue. Located in West Linn, OR, they are a small local shelter and they do awesome work :)

From their website:
"PAWS Animal Shelter is a non-profit cat adoption center in West Linn, Oregon. Our mission is to place as many homeless cats and kittens into loving, caring homes. In addition, we aim to educate pet owners, especially children, about proper care for their pets. We opened our doors on June 6, 1999 and have since found homes for over 1,000 cats, 45 dogs, 1 rabbit, 2 turtles, 1 pigeon, and a miniature horse."

I would LOVE to nominate Saving Shelter Pets. I try to give to this organization every chance I get. One reason I like them is you can actually see the difference they are making in the lives of individual dogs and cats. They have several programs, including their Puppy Promises program, that work to save animals from high kill shelters. Each animal (or litter) can be sponsored individually by people or donations will go to where they are needed most. I just gave to sponsor a couple of Husky puppies. It's not a big organization (not nation wide…but somehow I found them even though I'm in Washington) but they do really great work. They are by far one of my favorite pet rescues.
