by Kristy on December 17, 2009

If you are currently a Halo newsletter subscriber, you may have received an email to forward to a friend and in return you will receive a $5 web-store coupon! Coupon code will be emailed to you by January 6th, 2010. Plus, if your friend subscribes to the Halo newsletter they will receive a coupon for a free bag of dog treats.

Coupons also available:

$1 off Pet Treats, HERE.
$2.50 off grooming supplies, HERE.
$2.00 off dry dog or cat food, HERE.
$5 off 30lb bag of Halo’s Spot’s Stew for Dogs (emailed to you if you are a current subscriber)

Don’t forget about the $5 rebate offer I posted about HERE. This could make for some really cheap or free pet food!

I would hurry and print these if you are interested before they are gone. Hope these can help you get great deals on pet food.

Enjoy! :)

A 30 lb bag of Halo dog food is $70..how does using a $5 web coupon & $5 rebate net you ''really cheap or free dog food''??

Buy a smaller bag when it is on sale. Then combine the $5 off Halo manufacturer coupon with a store coupon(ex.$5 off a $25 purchase). Then submit your rebate. Sounds like good savings to me!

Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry that I was not more thorough in my post. Yes, I was talking more along the lines of what the second commenter said. I did receive an email question along the lines of this question and I would love to answer it here as well to clarify for everyone.

When I say you can get "really cheap or free food" maybe I should be more thorough….

If you go to PETCO, use the $5 off $25 coupon (some PetSmarts accept this coupon as well since it is a competitor's coupon), then use the Halo coupons for pet treats or grooming products (smaller products)…(there is also a coupon I posted in the past that should get you $5 off any Halo food if you were able to print out that coupon before they switched it over to the free dog treats they are now offering) which means a couple free cans of food…then use any of the other pet food coupons I have posted towards that $25 purchase and after coupons and mailing in for the $5 off Halo rebate, you will get really cheap or some items of free food. I think from all of my years of saving I made the mistake of thinking everyone knows how to do that. But everyone needs help learning the ropes. :)

I hope that makes sense. Let me know if I can be of anymore assistance. Thank you for visiting MyPetSavings.com! :)
